JavaDiscord APIAudio Streaming
Role
Lead DeveloperToxTunes was rapidly engineered in response to the temporary shutdown of the popular Rythm bot caused by YouTube's aggressive API bans.
Written entirely in Java while I was still in high school, the architecture bypassed standard API restrictions by running a headless instance of YouTube directly to scrape and stream high-quality audio into voice channels.
It was deployed as a fully hosted, independent application to ensure low-latency playback when the largest bots in the space went offline. Having served its purpose during the ban wave, the project is now officially retired.
